All Jews residing in Tyrol and Vorarlberg are cordially invited and, according to §3 of the statutes, are entitled to become members of the religious community. The religious community board may unanimously decide to make an exception to the residency requirement if the reasons are justified. The person concerned may not be a member of another religious community at the same time and the religious community for Tyrol and Vorarlberg must be the religious centre. The rabbinate in Vienna decides on the halachic requirements (proof of Jewish identity). Membership only becomes valid once it has been confirmed.
The following documents are required in the original - we ask you to hand them in personally at our office:

Adults:
- A signed application form DOWNLOAD
- Choice of passport, identity card or driving licence
- Registration form
- Birth certificate
- Documents that prove halachic Jewish identity

Children:
- Application form completed and signed by a parent (member)
- Birth certificate
- Registration form
