A portrait of the city based on people and places: Jewish Innsbruck introduces formative personalities, gives a voice to those who shape the everyday life and festivals of the Jewish community, and follows in the footsteps of scientific and artistic analyses of the Jewish community in Innsbruck.

Since 2024, the community has been enriched by an extensive Judaica collection. The collection consists of historical writings such as prayer books, Talmudic writings, Bible editions and ritual objects of daily and/or special private and synagogue use.

Passing on the Jewish tradition to the next generation is an important concern for the Jewish Community. Therefore, online lessons for children are regularly offered. Both members and non-members can register for the lessons. Our teacher Daniel Schönberger is accredited as a religious education teacher so that we can also offer official school lessons.

We are happy to welcome new members to our small but active Jewish community: We cordially invite Jews who live in Tyrol or Vorarlberg to become members.

We offer Modern Hebrew courses for both members and our friends. Lessons for beginners and advanced learners take place once a week. Both courses are led by our teacher Diana Panasyuk. For further information please contact our secretary.
