Dvar Torah - Shabbat thoughts

Every Shabbat in the annual cycle, a specific weekly period (Parasha) from the Torah. The interpretation, which Drascha (Drosche in Yiddish), is recited by rabbis, scholars or knowledgeable members of the community and has a long tradition. It is both an outflow and a source of Jewish scholarship.

Chief Rabbi Jaron Engelmayer provides a short video for each weekly section, in which exciting and inspiring insights into Judaism are conveyed. We invite you to learn something from the current parashah!

Lessons for children
