The IKG library on all topics of Jewish life

The community has an extensive library covering all aspects of Jewish life, history and culture. It has a library in the multi-purpose hall Architectural office Cattle designed bookshelf. Although the books are arranged thematically, they are waiting to be professionally catalogued. This is a concern that is close to the community's heart despite limited resources. Not least because there are other books in the congregation's possession and, above all, because the extensive Jewish studies library of Prof DDr Johann Maier (Faculty of Theology in Innsbruck). This makes it necessary to expand the library in the parish hall.

It is planned to open the library not only to members, but also to students and other interested persons in the interests of public relations and interreligious dialogue, and to make it possible to borrow books. If you are already interested in our library, please contact our Secretariat.
