In the Talmud, after all the things whose fruits people enjoy in this world, but whose stem is preserved for the world to come, we read: „...but Torah learning outweighs everything.“ (Shabbat 127a) This is prayed in the blessings every morning! Shiurim„ (from Shiur: unit), learning units, which are offered by Chief Rabbi Jaron Engelmayer and other religiously educated people depending on prior knowledge, either as frontal teaching followed by questions or discussion, or as joint learning from the Torah. The learning units are also accessible to non-members in the sense of interreligious dialogue after prior registration and will be announced in the newsletter.

Passing on the tradition to the next generation is particularly important. This is why we regularly offer lessons for children. Currently, lessons are mainly organised online via Zoom. The community is once again offering Hebrew lessons for beginners and advanced learners this year. Mrs Diana Panasyuk comes to us once a week and teaches new Hebrew to anyone who is interested. Costs: 100,-€ / semester. The courses take place on Tuesday evenings, information about the respective times and registration options can be found in our Secretariat gladly provide information.
