Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread 🫓🍷

Pesach for Hebrew Year 5786 begins in the Diaspora at sundown on Wednesday, 1 April 2026 and ends at nightfall on Thursday, 9 April 2026.

Passover (Hebrew: פֶּסַח Pesach) commemorates the story of the Exodus, in which the ancient Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt. Passover begins on the 15th day of the month of Nisan in the Jewish calendar, which is in spring in the Northern Hemisphere, and is celebrated for seven or eight days. It is one of the most widely observed Jewish holidays.

As in the previous year, we are once again celebrating the Passover Seder in an atmospheric setting in our community centre! Schlomo Rottman leads the prayers of Mincha and Maariv in the usual way and then leads the Seder. We read from the Haggadah and sing the traditional songs. Together with our caterer Guy Balassiano ist für schmackhafte und koschere Speisen gesorgt. Aufgrund des großen Interesses werden wir auch heuer wieder beide Sederabende feiern. Wir bitten um Verständnis, dass wir nicht garantieren können, dass an Ihrem Wunschtermin noch Plätze frei sind. Die Anmeldung gilt mit Einlangen des Kostenbeitrages von € 50,- für Mitglieder und Gäste. Kinder bis 14 Jahre zahlen die Hälfte. Wir bitten um Überweisung auf folgendes Konto:
