Pesach 2026 / פֶּסַח 5786

Passover, the Feast of Unleavened Bread 🫓🍷

Pesach for Hebrew Year 5786 begins in the Diaspora at sundown on and ends at nightfall on .

Passover (Hebrew: פֶּסַח Pesach) commemorates the story of the Exodus, in which the ancient Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt. Passover begins on the 15th day of the month of Nisan in the Jewish calendar, which is in spring in the Northern Hemisphere, and is celebrated for seven or eight days. It is one of the most widely observed Jewish holidays.

As in the previous year, we are once again celebrating the Passover Seder in an atmospheric setting in our community centre! Schlomo Rottman leads the prayers of Mincha and Maariv in the usual way and then leads the Seder. We read from the Haggadah and sing the traditional songs. Together with our caterer Guy Balassiano tasty and kosher food is provided. Due to the great interest, we will be celebrating both Seder evenings again this year. We ask for your understanding that we cannot guarantee that there will still be places available on your preferred date. Registration is valid upon receipt of the cost contribution of € 50 for members and € 80 for guests. Children up to 14 years pay half price. Please transfer the fee to the following account:
